Trusting intuition

April 2009:
Some of my friends absolutely hate line-ups. They feel terribly ill at ease, forced to see themselves for what they are doing – renting another human like disposable merchandise. Particularly the ones who take too long to decide, the awkwardness just gets worse every second that passes. These are the friends who often ask me beforehand – and it’s vitally important for them to know – whether a particular massage place uses the line-up method. If it does, they won’t go.
I don’t like line-ups either, but I’ve learnt how to make a quick decision. I’ve learnt to trust a kind of sixth sense, letting intuition tell me within seconds which one to give the nod to.
And so it was at K-Why. Ten guys were in the parade. Most were S2, with a few closer to S3M (See Body Shape Codes). Two took their shirts off to reveal defined pecs, biceps and abs. But my eyes landed on one of the two smallest guys, darker than average, narrower-shouldered than his peers, with curly hair. There was really nothing about his face or body that could be called star quality, but he had a sweet smile … and I am such a sucker for sweet smiles.
Not that a sweet smile alone indicates anything about the service one can expect. The objective fact is that choosing a masseur is little more than throwing a dice. Does trusting my intuition produce results better than mere chance alone? I don’t know; probably not. But what else have I to go on that can resolve an awkward situation quickly enough?
Bee was from Si Saket. 26 years old, about 160 cm tall, 58 kg, Body type S1. Body hair 0A3, with a thick pubic bush.
His massage skills were average at best – long palming strokes interspersed with squeezing movements. It was obvious he had not been formally trained, as he had no organised sequence, moving back and forth from working on my back to my legs at least six times. However, for his smallish size, and to his credit, he delivered reasonably good pressure. Rating 4/10.
Although he was nude, he had none of the choreographic talent that a few others in his line have displayed. See for example my post I was such a pushover. Not once did his penis brush against my body as other masseurs have “accidentally” done. Nor did his hand movements incorporate any strokes that wandered into erogenous zones. I was left wondering whether he might be clueless and reticent about Part Two.
Was my intuition proving itself useless?
Au contraire! It turned out that Bee was a 9/10 in the apres-massage department. He was a determined body hugger; our full-body wrestling went on for along time. He was an equally determined deep kisser, pressing his face hard against mine. More than once, I had to disengage to get some oxygen.
Putting some oil on my fingers, I explored the rear orifice. It gave entry with ease. What about two fingers? Not much difficulty either. Conclusion: my willy could have access if I cared to. However, with so much oil about, it was my policy not to do so. The rubber of the condoms would be weakened by oil.
Talking about willies, Bee’s was impressive. “How many centimetres?” I had to ask.
“Sip paet,” he said. That’s eighteen in Thai.
One more thing: Bee gave a thorough and sensual soaping before and after the massage. Have I told you 9/10?

As described in the post K-Why not OK. Why?, K-Why is not a place I would recommend supporting. My feeling is that its business model is one that takes undue advantage of the boys. When I want to see Bee again, I intend to call him directly – he gave me his phone number.
That said, I should add a few words about the facility: K-Why is not a well decorated place. It looks bare and functional. The shower rooms were clean, but separate from the massage rooms. The massage room I used was medium-sized, entirely enclosed by solid walls – maybe not so solid since I could hear that traffic on Rama 4 Road throughout the session – with its own airconditioner. It had a raised massage table, about 0.9 metre wide; a pillow covered the face-well. As mentioned above, the house style appears to include a personalised shower at the start and at the end of the hour, and massage is done in the nude.
K-Why’s “all-in” rate was 1,500 baht, payable upfront before the session. You are of course free to tip an extra 100, 200 baht or more if you think the service merited it. I did.

Thanks for asking about S2, etc. These are body shape codes that I use on this blog. But prompted by your question, I noticed that WordPress had dropped the list of Permanent Pages from the right-hand column, when they updated their software. I have restored them.

Thanks for all your very interesting posts,i have been reading them since i accidentally discovered your blog, very informative and helpful. I totally agree with you about K-Why,may i know whether Bee is gay or straight as i find the mamasan always deliberately gives inaccurate infor. to convince client that he has picked the right one.Thanks.
