Trusting intuition

April 2009:
Some of my friends absolutely hate line-ups. They feel terribly ill at ease, forced to see themselves for what they are doing – renting another human like disposable merchandise. Particularly the ones who take too long to decide, the awkwardness just gets worse every second that passes. These are the friends who often ask me beforehand – and it’s vitally important for them to know – whether a particular massage place uses the line-up method. If it does, they won’t go.
I don’t like line-ups either, but I’ve learnt how to make a quick decision. I’ve learnt to trust a kind of sixth sense, letting intuition tell me within seconds which one to give the nod to.
And so it was at K-Why. Ten guys were in the parade. Most were S2, with a few closer to S3M (See Body Shape Codes). Two took their shirts off to reveal defined pecs, biceps and abs. But my eyes landed on one of the two smallest guys, darker than average, narrower-shouldered than his peers, with curly hair. There was really nothing about his face or body that could be called star quality, but he had a sweet smile … and I am such a sucker for sweet smiles.
K-Why not OK. Why?

April 2009:
There’s a reason why K-Why Massage along Rama 4 Road adopts a pricing system different from other massage places in Bangkok: so that they can exploit the guys working there. They require customers to pay 1,500 baht upfront before the session begins, saying it’s all-inclusive. I believe most customers will assume that of the 1,500, the shop keeps 500 and the boy gets 1,000, on par with the minimum tip in many massage places in Bangkok.
But is that indeed the split at K-Why? That question nagged me. Continue reading K-Why not OK. Why?…

I said in the post Many readers of this blog may be Asian that I should try to provide a few money-saving tips, especially for those who don’t travel to Thailand frequently.
Then I also said that Pattaya and nearby Jomtien beach may be worth a visit in Where is the gay beach in Jomtien?
But is there a convenient and cost-effective way to get from Bangkok to Pattaya? Continue reading How to get from Bangkok to Pattaya?…
A chuckwow would spoil the pleasure

April 2009:
I’m going to have a hard time rating this one, I thought to myself halfway through the session. As proper massages go, this is far from what it should be. Yet I am enjoying every moment of this immensely, which can only mean he’s doing something right. Very right!
Once again, I had ordered a two-hour scrub+massage session at Candle T Spa, a place where I have never, and I mean never, been disappointed.
I selected Yod from the photo album, in which there were 19 boys featured, of which 10 were said to be available. There was something about the smile that had me smitten, though the body was nothing outstanding. Continue reading A chuckwow would spoil the pleasure…

April 2009:
Many places nowadays call themselves “guest houses” but aim to maintain hotel standards of furnishings, daily changes of bedlinen, etc. While without doubt, guests appreciate these, we should be sensible enough to know that these add to the running cost.
The great thing about Two Guys in Pattaya is that it is it lives up in all ways to its category. It’s clean, functional, straightforward without being fussy about decor, or over-providing services we don’t actually need.
Two Guys is located a little beyond the Sunnee area, but via Saisong Soi 16, it was just a 10-minute stroll to Second Road where songtaews await passengers heading towards Jomtien beach. Continue reading Two Guys Guest House is great value…
