Finally I Visited Tawan…

First I would like to thank everyone who contributed to my questions. Many thanks. It was helpful. Now I am more confident of taking BTS to reach Silom. It is EASY! Finding Tawan is not difficult too. Just that I have to asked around where is Silom 6.

As I was approaching Tawan, saw it’s signboard. Was very nervous but braved myself. Someone lead me inside and I was like WOW WOW WOW!!!!! GUYS WEARING THONGS PARADING AROUND!!! Sorry but its my first time! Hahah Lots of guys to choose from. Paid 250Baht for a beer. The waiter attending to me quoted when i asked that the “off” fee is 400baht. He even told me that there is a short time room nearby. I couldn’t wait! Continue reading Camperboy finds heaven in Tawan…

Discovering Kuala Lumpur

Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur

September 2008

Should the political drama in Thailand turn bad, Kuala Lumpur may be a good alternative. For those living in Thailand, it may be a choice location for a visa run too.

I myself had never considered Kuala Lumpur an interesting destination. Malaysia, being a Muslim country, would never allow go-go bars like what we find in Bangkok. And who would imagine nude massage with “happy endings”? But indeed, there’s plenty of massage, as I would discover in a recent visit to Kuala Lumpur on other business, though they haven’t gotten around to go-go bars.

From a websearch prior to the trip, the main locality for gay massage venues appears to be the Miharja area, about 10 – 15 minutes from the city centre by light rail (LRT). It was a breeze. All three places that I tried out were within walking distance of Miharja LRT station, via a tunnel under a busy highway (Jalan Loke Yew). (Scroll to end of article for directions) Continue reading Discovering Kuala Lumpur…

More life in Body Club’s lobby, less in the shower

July 2008:

bodyclub_bkk_imp91My last visit to Body Club (Bangkok) – Body Club hits bad patch? – suggested to me that the place was going downhill. There were only 7 boys available and no other customers, when previously they used to have 20 – 25 in the line-up. This time, there was 1 other customer in the sitting area when I entered and another walking in just as I was leaving. I’d hate to see this place go under, so I’m glad that things appear to have improved. Mamasan Jame seems in good control. Continue reading More life in Body Club’s lobby, less in the shower…

Well-kneaded by Awd of Adonis

July 2008:

adonis_imp233Went back to give Adonis Massage another try after a disappointing experience about 3 years ago. Its location is as convenient as ever, in a cul-de-sac off Soi Convent, about 10 minutes’ walk from the Silom Road junction.

The boys here are now bigger and taller than what I remember from the previous time, some of them in good shape. One particular guy had a well defined V-shaped body. I was tempted, but in the end, I didn’t pick him from the line-up. There were about 13 – 15 guys available around 15:00 h. Continue reading Well-kneaded by Awd of Adonis…

Have gogo bars lost the plot?

21 July 2008

There has been much talk about gogo bars in Bangkok raising their prices repeatedly. Some say, it has affected visitor traffic, others say not. As owners of the most popular bars, Dream Boy and Boys Bangkok, the BBB Group tends to be the price setter.

Just to see for myself what the situation is, I checked out Dream Boy on Sunday night. Continue reading Have gogo bars lost the plot?…

Senso Massage. This is a relatively new place along Saladeng Road, just past Saladaeng Place as you walk in from Silom Road. Location-wise, it is very convenient, being less than 5 minutes from Saladaeng Skytrain Station.

Inside, it’s very well appointed, with a little courtyard garden. Rooms had ensuite showers.

There were 7 boys on duty when I arrived in the afternoon. All were athletic looking types. Yippee! I could have closed my eyes and taken anyone.

But I had to choose, so I chose Thon, 22-24 years old, 170 cm, ca.60kg. Fair, virtually hairless, medium slim (Code: S2). Continue reading Beautiful decor, beautiful boys, pity about the skill…

Just a typical ‘off’ day

July 2008:

In a separate post, I wondered aloud if the go-go bars have lost the plot and what they might do about it. They don’t seem to be as successful in getting their “boys” off’d like in the past. Many people whom I have spoken to have reported unsatisfactory experiences from the boys once they’re back in the hotel room.

Here is what may well be a typical experience:

I had my eye on Suchart in the bar for a while before I decided to take him, mostly because I was trying to gauge his personality from the way he interacted with others. Personality, in my experience is a better predictor of performance than looks, though still far from reliable. But he didn’t interact much around the room and after half an hour or so, I didn’t think I was going to get much further with mere observation. Continue reading Just a typical ‘off’ day…

V-club’s “Best” boy

March 2008:

(Note: this post refers to V-Club at its old address prior to its relocation in December 2008)

I have boycotted V-Club some 4 or 5 years, after what I was sure was an attempt to overcharge me. They billed me for an upgraded room which I didn’t use – in fact I didn’t even know there were different classes of rooms. What was suspicious was that the moment I challenged the bill, they quickly reduced the amount, without even checking which room I was given, like they knew they couldn’t prove it.

Since 4 or 5 years is enough penalty, I decided this year to give it another chance. Of course I shall be alert to overcharging, just in case old habits die hard. Continue reading V-club’s “Best” boy…

Forgettable massage, great sex

March 2008:

I’ve heard of GQ Massage for a number of years, but have never been there. Partly it was because no one ever writes encouragingly about it. A recent post in an online forum, for example, reported that “they never seem able to get their act together”.

This trip, I felt that I should make the effort to find out for myself.

GQ is located on Soi Suan Phlu Road, Subsoi 6. That’s on the south side of Sathorn Road, some 500 – 600 metres in from busy Sathorn Road. the taxi had some difficulty finding Subsoi 6 – apparently, the Subsois have individual names too – and he missed the turning. I had to get out of the cab and walk back. Continue reading Forgettable massage, great sex…

Heroically coping with Hero’s crowds

March 2008:

Hero, housed in a bungalow at the deep end of Sukhumvit soi 11, is always, busy. Late afternoon midweek, and there were about 6-8 customers (they looked in the main to be Asian tourists) in the lounge as I arrived, while more were coming and going. The mamasan had to flit from one to the other, and beyond the cursory “Welcome, please sit down”, I was very much left to myself.

One pair of customers was asking the mamasan a zillion questions, hogging his time, yet showing a little annoyance each time the mamasan had to attend to others as well.

A waiter sped by and miraculously, a glass of water was deposited in front of me without spilling a drop. Continue reading Heroically coping with Hero’s crowds…
