A temple within the old city of Chiang Mai
In the 1990s, Adam’s Apple was THE place to go if you’re looking for a gogo bar in Chiang Mai. Yet, my fondest memory of it was not of the show, or the boys available from the bar, but of another patron, and the toilet.
There show wasn’t half bad (by Chiang Mai standards) but I didn’t have any plan to off anyone that night, since I had just come from a sauna and was pretty well exhausted. I almost couldn’t find the place. The problem was that their shop was actually inside a multistoreyed garage. Now who would expect a spa to be inside a garage?

It’s over a kilometre from Boyztown to either of these two places – even further if you’re staying further south – and while, in the cool of the evening, I managed to cover the distance on foot, others may wish to consider hiring a motorbike taxi.
Diana Inn on Second Road, almost directly opposite the coach parking lot of Mike’s Department Store, is the turn-off point to look out for.
Just beside Diana Inn is Pattaya Saisong Soi 13, which is more commonly known by its nickname, Soi Diana Inn.
Go all the way in till it meets Soi Buakhao. You know you’re at the right intersection when you see a 7-11 on one side of the intersection and its competitor, Family Mart, on the other side.
Proceed straight through this intersection into Soi Leng Kee (sometimes spelt Lengki). Cartier is just 120 – 150 m ahead on your left.
To get to Xzyte, follow Leng Kee till it meets Third Road. Turn left on Third Road and within seconds, you will see the huge building that houses this late night dance club.

Directions to White House Spa

This massage place is located in a northeastern suburb of Bangkok, a considerable distance from the usual tourist centres. However, it is close to a landmark – The Mall, Bangkapi.
You can get to Bangkapi Mall either by taxi or by the “river taxi” that plies the khlong behind the shopping complex.

Once you’ve reached Bangkapi Mall, go up to the second level (sometimes called “first floor” in Thailand). On the Ladphrao Road side of the building there is an elevated pedestrian bridge that will take you over to the north side of Ladphrao Road.
After crossing the bridge, get down to the road and head westwards.
Although White House Spa takes its address from Soi 115, it is actually on an unnamed soi parallel to it, as you can see from the map above.

Two Guys takes its official address from Soi Yensabai, but from the maps I have seen, the road running in front of the townhouse is more popularly known as Soi P N Mansion.
Also, as you can see from the upper map, the easiest approach to the guest house from the centre of Pattaya is via Pattaya Saisong Soi 16, the road that runs just southwest of the school.

The Sunnee plaza area is chock-a-block with gay bars. Some are open-air drinking bars, others have gogo stages. Sunnee tends to have smaller, slimmer boys than Boyztown.

Also known as Soi Twilight or Soi Duangthawee, Soi Pratuchai is where most of Bangkok’s gay gogo bars are located.
This soi is near the junction of Surawong and Rama 4 Roads. The easiest way to walk there from Saladaeng skytrain station is via Thaniya Road, as you can see from the first map below.

The inset map (below) indicates the various cafes and bars, as of March 2009. Things change quite rapidly, so by the time you get there, one or more bars may have disappeared with (hopefully) new ones replacing them.
Most bars get going only after 21:00 h. Generally their shows start at 22:30 h, though some start a little earlier.
If you “off” a boy from one of the bars and need a short-time room, these are available at Suriwongse Hotel and BBB Inn. They are a stone’s throw from Soi Pratuchai, as indicated in the maps above.
If you need urgent supplies of rubber and lube, they are available from the Family Mart, located at the mouth of Soi Pratuchai. Everything’s so convenient!

The nearest station to Sauna Mania is Chong Nonsi.
Alighting from the skytrain, get down to the east side of Narathiwat Road, and walk into Soi Phiphat 2 – there’s a 7-11 at the corner. Walk about 200 metres and Sauna Mania will be on your right.
