Updated July 2009:
There are plenty of massage places around Saladaeng BTS (Skytrain) station, but they can be grouped into two kinds:
- Foot massage shops that also offer Thai massage and oil massage, mostly with staff of both sexes and catering to both sexes;
- Gay erotic massage places.
The foot massage places are plentiful and easily spotted along Silom Road within easy walking distance of Saladaeng station (some also on Surawong Road). I don’t need to provide directions. You can hardly miss them once you’ve reached Saladaeng station.

The three gay erotic massage places are Senso, Bento and Fan Club. For all three, exit Saladaeng BTS station on the south side of Silom Road.
To get to Senso, walk a short distance east to Saladaeng Road (many people call this road Soi Saladaeng – it’s incorrect). About 150 – 200 metres in is a townhouse that is Senso.
To get to Bento, go to Saladaeng Road too, but turn right once more into Soi Saladaeng 2. Bento is a ground floor shop in a condominium block.
To get to Fan Club, walk west after exiting Saladaeng station till you reach Soi Convent. Walk into the soi and after about 50 metres, you will see a narrow subsoi, opposite Molly Malone pub. Fan Club is inside that subsoi.
There is also Bua Restaurant – one of my favourites – on Soi Convent, next door to Molly Malone.

July 2009:
There are three massage places south of Sathorn Road: Aqua, Baan Tewa and GQ Massage.
It is possible to walk from Chong Nonsi BTS station to
- Aqua (bottom left of map) inside Sathorn Soi 9;
- Baan Tewa (middle of map) inside Sathorn Soi 7.
- It’s a bit of a hike (1.2 km?) to GQ Massage (bottom right of map), on Suanphlu Soi 6, which is a subsoi of Sathorn Soi 3 (also called Soi Sunaphlu).
There is also Adonis and Casanova Massage on Soi Convent, close to the Sathorn/Convent junction.

Updated July 2009:
Three massage venues are within walking distance of Phrom Phong BTS (skytrain) station: MMS Massage, Jey Spa and The 24 Massage.
In order to avoid having to cross horrendously busy Sukhumvit Road, do ensure that on leaving Phrom Phong Station, you get down to the appropriate side of the road.
MMS Massage: Get down to the north side of Sukhumvit and walk west along Sukhumvit till you see Soi 33. Go into this soi till you see Novotel Lotus hotel. There is a subsoi opposite the hotel and MMS is in it.
Jey Spa: Get down to the north side of Sukhumvit and walk east till you see Soi 41. Jey Spa is about 300 metres inside Soi 41, almost to the end of the soi.
The 24 Massage: Get down to the south side of Sukhumvit (the Emporium side), go into Soi 24 and within 50 metres, you will a small subsoi that looks like this:
One of the signs is for The 24 Massage.
Directions to Nana Asoke North

Updated March 2009:
In this area between BTS (Skytrain) Nana and Asoke stations, there are seven massage places, of which five are north of Sukhumvit Road: Ambassador Health Club, Albury, Banana Club, Hero and Janpa Spa.

*
Those places that give their address as Sukhumvit Soi 11 can be a bit troublesome to find because Soi 11 splits into two, both with the same name. An important landmark is Chaidee Mansion. It’s here that Soi 11 hits a T-junction and separates into two arms. To go to Albury (and Janpa, which is actually on Soi 13) turn right. To go to Banana Club and Hero, take the left arm of the road.
Janpa Spa
Janpa can also be reached directly through Soi 13, without going through Soi 11.

Ambassador Health Club
This is located within Ambassador Hotel, which is such a large building, it is hard to miss.
The hotel entrance is about 200 metres inside Soi 11. Once inside the building follow the signs to the Health Club.
Directions to Miharja massage parlours

Updated: August 2009:
Although the massage parlours in the Miharja area of Kuala Lumpur are not in the centre of the city, with the Light Rail system (LRT), it is quite easy to get to.
What you need to do is to make your way to Miharja Station. This would be on the Star LRT line in the direction of Ampang (i.e. if you’re starting from downtown).

On reaching Miharja Station, go down to the road – there’s only one exit – and walk east towards a tunnel. Once through the tunnel, you’re on Jalan Lombong and you’ll see rows of townhouses.
As indicated by the map above, a choice of massage parlours await you both on your right and on your left.
If you’re taking a taxi, I am told that the massive office building called UE3 (indicated on the map) would be the landmark to refer to. Taxi drivers should know it.
However, I cannot vouch for it since I have found the LRT so convenient I have never taken a taxi to this area. In any case, Kuala Lumpur taxi drivers generally refuse to use meters and unless one knows how to bargain, the chance of being overcharged is high.
Furthermore, taxis going back are hard to find in the Miharja area, so one might as well learn to take the LRT going there, since that may well be the only way back.
For reports and reviews of the massage shops in this area, enter the name in the Search Box.
Directions to Emperor Massage

The closest Light Rail station is Tasik Selatan, on the Star LRT line. Take the train that goes in the direction of Sri Petaling. From downtown Kuala Lumpur, it is about 15 minutes’ ride away.
On exit from Tasik Selatan station, follow the roofed walkway towards the super highway (Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2) and cross it via the elevated pedestrian bridge.

.
When you’re on the bridge, orientate yourself by looking out to the southwest. You will see a sign for a Shell service station, and a little beyond it, a few commercial blocks. That’s where you want to go – about 400 metres away..
Below is the view from the pedestrian bridge.

Once across the highway, you will find yourself amidst a residential area. Walk towards the Shell station and from there you will able to see Jalan 3/146. The next picture shows the entrance to Jalan 3/146 (in the rain):

Walk into Jalan 3/146, continuing to the last block on your left, and the last stairwell of that block. You will know it’s the correct stairwell when you see a sign like this:

Take the elevator to the 5th floor – the topmost floor.
Directions to Ekkamai area

Blue Lotus Massage is in the Ekkamai area (sometimes spelt Ekamai), but it is more than 1 km north of Ekkamai BTS (skytrain) station.
More specifically, Blue Lotus is located on Ekkamai Soi 7, which is also known as Soi Panta 1.
It is possible to stroll from the BTS station to Ekkamai Soi 7; it should take about 20 minutes.
Alternatively, one can hire a motorbike taxi at the mouth of Soi Ekkamai.
One can even hop onto any bus going north. Soi 7 would be about 5 bus stops away.
You know you are approaching Soi 7 when you see the traffic lights at the Soi 5/Soi 12. junction with Soi Ekkamai.
The landmark to note at the junction of Soi 7 and Soi Ekkamai is the automobile showroom for the “Mini” marque. See the photo below.
Turn into Soi 7 and Blue Lotus is about 50 metres inside.

From Saladaeng Station, get down to the north side of Silom Road, and then take Thaniya Road to cross over to Surawong Road. Reaching the latter, turn left and continue walking about 350 metres (westwards) to the junction with with Soi Tarntawan. There’s a pharmacy and a 7-11 convenience store at that corner, and it would also be just opposite Tawana Hotel.
